Until 2016, the area between the National Theater, the New Stage and the National Theater’s operating building was called the National Theater piazzetta. In October 2016, the Heart of Václav Havel by sculptor Kurt Gebauer was placed here and the place was renamed Václav Havel Square. And it’s a nice place even in today`s inclement weather.
