The Savoy Café can be for explorers of Prague something like a base camp – it is a strategic place and they will take great care of you there. The café on the ground floor of a beautiful Art Nouveau house was established at the end of the 19th century. It reached a great success during the First Republic, socialism had no sympathy with it – there was a police training center in the café.
